چکیده

Urban floods are a common urban disaster that threaten the economy and development of cities. Sponge cities can improve flood resistance ability reduce by setting low-impact measures (LID). Evaluating reduction benefits is basic link in construction sponge Therefore, it great significance to evaluate from perspective different rain patterns. In this study, we investigated runoff various rainfall patterns Mianyang city using Strom Water Management Model (SWMM). We employed 2–100-year return periods three temporal downscaling methods simulate Mianyang, with without implementation measures. After calibration, model performance was validated multi-source data concerning peaks inter-annual variations magnitude. Notably, effects peak on historical were generally greater than synthetic rainfalls generated downscaling. Compared events, protection capacities be easily overestimated when Overall, an earlier associated better capacity. context, results obtained study provide useful reference information about impact pattern control LID, used for design other part China.

Flood damage assessment for Dhaka City, Bangladesh

Flood damage assessment is a key component in the development of city flood risk management strategies. A flood damage assessment model is being developed by combining flood hazard information (depth, extent, velocity, duration, etc.) with geographic information (land use/cover, buildings, infrastructure, etc.), social-economic data and population demographics to estimate urban flood impacts. I...

Using OCL in Model Validation According to Stereotypes

Model-Driven Development approach became popular in past years. Domain-specific profiles are defined for various domains and tools are used to transform models using these profiles to source code artifacts. However, rules need to be defined for the profile elements usage so the transformation can be effective and reliable. This paper deals with an approach of expressing these rules using specia...
